Fundamental to what we do each and every day, is that we try to engender in our children the values of kindness, humility and compassion. We encourage our children to be generous in spirit, to use their talents and gifts to help others in ways large and small.
It is no wonder that we, at Sweet Pea, always try to engender a social conscience and we believe in having both a moral and social obligation to help those that are less fortunate. As part of our commitment to giving back to the community, we have decided to offer a grant to be paid for a full year to three deserving children. One in each room at Sweet Pea. Early childhood education is an essential part of a child’s cognitive and physical development and we believe that no child should be deprived of this because they have been economically disadvantaged. If you are keen on applying for a grant, feel free to drop us an email stating why you should qualify for it.
We are constantly reminded of what Nelson Mandela said, “Overcoming poverty is not a gesture of charity. It is the protection of a fundamental human right, the right to dignity and a decent life.”
